Strata Assistant

South Island Property Management Ltd is looking for an assistant to work with a Strata Property Manager at our head office at 3581 Shelbourne Street. This is a full time position in a fast paced office. Experience in Property Management is an asset. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, in addition to the qualifications listed below:

Applicants must have:

Minimum 2 years office experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
Knowledge of standard bookkeeping practices
Experience working in a fast-paced office setting
Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Knowledge of Spectra accounting system
Experience working with residential properties in any capacity
Data entry skills
Experience managing multiple client accounts at one time
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Corresponding with clients via phone, fax, email, and face-to-face contact
Maintaining a database/Power Strata
Producing budgets and other financial documents using Excel and other software
Reviewing and distributing Monthly Financial Statements
Producing legal forms and documents related to the transfer of property
Compiling informational packages for general meetings
Responding quickly and efficiently to immediate issues as they are presented
Professional letter writing
Additional administrative duties such as filing, answering incoming calls, etc.
Position Details:

Full time position to start beginning of July
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Salary will commensurate with experience
